Seki Shikyo Art Lab was established in Kyoto, Japan. Since its first exhibition at the Ueda City Museum of Art in Ueda, Nagano Prefecture in December 2016, it has accumulated nearly ten years of curatorial experience in national and public art museums across Japan.
With art project planning and management as its core, the office operates projects nationwide in Japan. Its activities span the fields of visual art, film, publishing, and music, as well as art projects aimed at integrating art and society. It also actively develops non-profit public-interest projects, exploring new possibilities for art through diverse forms of practice.
